Mill Creek Streamway Park has many entrance points since it’s 17 linear miles. This entrance is located off 87th Lane in Lenexa, Kansas. It is open year around dawn to dusk.
Features
This Streamway Park has multiple entry points which provide different things at this entry point you can get to the walking and biking trails. There is also a place for picnicking under the shade shelter or even a small grill for grilling. There is no restrooms at this point but does have a water fountain.
Mill Creek Playground
Mill Creek Streamway Playground at 87th Lane has stairs that reach the small double slide and a traditional bridge to get over to the larger curved slide. There is also stair steps and rope ladder and rock wall to reach this platform. To get from this side of the playground to the other there is a rope web bridge. The other side of the playground features a rock mountain to climb and a double longer slide. There is also a curved hand and foot hold curve to climb.
Overall there is no shade on this playground or restrooms. There is a nice shelter with water and parking lot. There are a few fun elements on this playground you don’t see everyday. Remember there are other Streamway Park Entries .
