Lemonade is my favorite drink of choice, I even have a few shirts about it. I don’t drink much soda and I drink zero caffeine. At one point in my life when they were trying to diagnose an issue, the docs made me go off all soda for 12 weeks, gosh it was hard! But I never went back to drinking caffeine, unless you count chocolate milk. While lemonade is a favorite of mine after water, sometimes I still want something fancier or different. So I started experimenting with lemonade and here are some particular types of lemonades to create.

How to Make Lemonade

Lemonade is pretty basic, you need lemons, sugar, and water for the base. If you have a favorite lemonade base, use it.

  • 2 quarts water
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup lemon juice (fresh or store-bought)
  • Mix all the ingredients together

Different Flavors of Lemonade

  1. Strawberries – Use pureed strawberries added to your lemonade mixture
  2. Raspberries – Use pureed or crush-up fresh ones in your glass
  3. Blueberries – Use pureed blueberries in your mixture
  4. Blackberries – Use pureed blackberries for your cup
  5. Peaches – Use peach nectar or each simple syrup in your mixture
  6. Lavender – Use a simple syrup of lavender to level up your drink
  7. Mint – Crush mint leaves or use an immersion blender
  8. Pineapple – Add juice or puree to your glass
  9. Watermelon – Crushed or pureed watermelon
  10. Mango – Pureed mango
  11. Basil – Add torn basil leaves to your lemonade and stir
  12. Hibiscus – Use dried flowers or powder with hot water to infuse then mix in your glass
  13. Butterfly Pea – Use leaves or powder with hot water to infuse then mix with your lemonade

If you want a quick and easy way to make lemonade, my favorite is TRUELEMON. They also have several different types of flavors as well.
