We love our books and love sharing suggestions with you to create your own library at home. Even though the kids are getting older, we still love to pull out some of our favorites to read around the holidays and seasons.

Reading to your child is so good for them but also for you too. It makes you stop and just enjoy some snuggle time with your kids while you forget about the to do list and the other things that need to be done.

Baby loves Fall is a lift the flap book and has been around for along time, we have had some of these books and my kids loved the colorful images on the pages. Nature Stories Little Acorn is the story of a little acorn becomes an oak tree. I Love Fall Touch and feel books are some awesome books this has the touch of the scarf to the crunch of leaves to get ready for the fall.

Autumn in the Forest Deluxe is a lift a flap board book while you learn about fall while following around a little chipmunk as the pumpkins are growing and trees full of apples. Everyone just loves Daniel Tiger from Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood, based off Mr. Rogers. The illustrations are beautifully done, but I will say there are more words than normal for a board book. Daniel Loves Fall is also another very good one.

Not about the facts of fall, but using fall to talk about worries, anxiety, and social struggles in this new book called The Very Last Leaf. Some fun stories with Fancy Nancy and the Fall Foliage from fashion to weather and colors of the leaves as you celebrate the season and new, fancy words.
