Jaycee Park is located in Shawnee KS off 67th Street and Quivira Road. This is what I consider a neighborhood park as there are no restrooms, but there is a parking lot. This park is easy to get to features some shade on the playground and around the green space.
This park also has a few benches, picnic tables to go with the playground.
Jaycee Playground
The playground at Jaycee Park features steps to the smaller double slide and curved slide. There is also one of the spiral fireman poles, and fireman pole and Tic-Tac-Toe to play on the first platform. There is a rope bridge to cross to the other platform. This platform is reachable by two types of ladders and steps has a curved slide and wavy slide to have fun going down. This playground has some shade with the platforms even having a roof to help with the heat and sun.
