Easter is right around the corner. Getting a gift for our kids or baskets I hate do too much candy. So today I am showing you some of my favorite Easter and Spring books. These aren’t just good for this year but for years to come. We love reading around here and reading up to the Easter holiday. What a great thing to also be able to pass down and it gets to stick around after the holiday too. Click on photos or links to see the book on Amazon.

Board Books

Biscuit's Pet & Play Easter: A Touch & Feel Book: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids

Count on the Easter Pups! (PAW Patrol)

Little Blue Truck's Springtime: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids

Board Books in general are best for your littles when they dont know how to respect a book and still like to chew on them instead. Selected a few of our favorites like Biscuit Pet & Play Easter is so much fun with the animals having different textures. Kids love anytime they could interact with a book and this one allows that using fur and other textures. A few of the others we personally owned are In Elmo’s Easter Parade, this was actually one of the first books we bought for our son, who doesn’t love Elmo. At some point we also acquired The Bunny Hop. Look at all those cute bunnies, this book is great because the size was always great for the car and diaper bag to take with us.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar's First Spring (The World of Eric Carle)

In Elmo's Easter Parade (Sesame Street)

The Bunny Hop (Sesame Street) (Big Bird's Favorites Board Books)

Paw Patrol and Little Blue Truck both look like great books, have great reviews, and are very popular around the littles right now. Added a few others that look great like the Easter Colors and Little Raindrop. Isn’t that raindrop the cutest? Seriously thinking of adding it to our library collection even though we are past this stage right now.

Happy Bunny Day! (Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood)

Nature Stories: Little Raindrop-Discover an Amazing Story from the Natural World: Padded Board Book

Toddler and Kid Books

The Pups Save the Bunnies (Paw Patrol) (Pictureback(R))

Elmo's Easter Egg Surprises (Sesame Street) (Little Golden Book)

Clifford's Happy Easter (Classic Storybook)

Toddler and Kid books kinda over lap so I just joined them here. These books are more based off the interest and age of your child. This category includes classics like Clifford the Big Red Dog and The Berenstain Bears. Don’t forget about Charlie Brown too.

Worm Weather (Penguin Core Concepts)

The Honeybee

How to Catch the Easter Bunny

These are all books we have enjoyed around here and continue to do so even with older children. How to Catch the Easter Bunny looks like a great bold and bright book. The Honeybee, Goodbye Winter, Hello Spring, and Worm Weather look amazing for spring with fun graphics. Who can resist some Paw Patrol, Disney, and  Elmo.

Too Many Carrots (Fiction Picture Books)

The Berenstain Bears and the Easter Story: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids (Berenstain Bears/Living Lights: A Faith Story)

Fancy Nancy and the Missing Easter Bunny: An Easter And Springtime Book For Kids

Older Kids Books

Older kid book about spring and easter are kinda of hard to find and a little bit of a stretch to get there but today I am bringing you some great ones from early chapter books and beyond.

Junie B., First Grader: Dumb Bunny (Book 27)

Heidi Heckelbeck and the Tie-Dyed Bunny (10)

Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa: Spring Babies

Have read some of the Clementine and Humphrey series and have liked them so far. In my research found the Penderwicks in Spring and the Cowgirl Kate and Cocoa Spring Babies, which aren’t series we have tried before but look darling. If you have a tween girl the Junie B Jones and Heidi Heckelbeck are another good series.

The Penderwicks in Spring

Spring According to Humphrey

Clementine and the Spring Trip (Clementine, 6)
